I've come across an intriguing situation involving an active-duty Navy Medical Service Corps officer, Lt. Ted Macie, who blew the whistle on some concerning data from a Pentagon medical database. This database showed a significant increase in the rate of myocarditis cases in the military after the COVID-19 vaccine rollout in 2021.
Lt. Macie is stepping into the spotlight to reveal more findings, shedding light on a rise in accidents, assaults, self-harm incidents, and suicide attempts within the military during 2021, compared to the average from 2016 to 2021.
The data that Lt. Macie accessed comes from the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED), where all diagnoses for active service members are recorded. Lt. Macie noticed a rise in health-related incidents in the winter of 2021/2022, and he decided to dig deeper into the data. His report showed that the diagnoses of myocarditis had surged by 130.5 percent in 2021 compared to the average from 2016 to 2020. This is a cause for concern, as all four COVID-19 vaccines authorized in the United States can potentially cause myocarditis.
Interestingly, after the introduction of the COVID-19 vaccine, other military whistleblowers reported similarly shocking spikes in disease rates. The Pentagon dismissed these figures, claiming that some diagnoses from the earlier years hadn't been counted due to data corruption issues. However, Lt. Macie and others noticed concerning trends even after these issues were said to be fixed.
As news spread that Lt. Macie was the only active-duty member at his command who hadn't received the COVID-19 vaccine and was actively suing the secretary of defense, more people started coming to him in confidence to share their adverse reactions to the vaccine. These stories motivated him to take action and bring his findings to the attention of authorities.
After Senator Ron Johnson got involved, the Pentagon eventually confirmed the accuracy of Lt. Macie's data. The response from the Pentagon suggested that the increase in cases might be due to prior COVID-19 infection rather than the vaccine.
Not stopping there, Lt. Macie has now revealed another set of data showing significant increases in various incidents beyond health-related issues. These include exposure to forces of nature, water transport accidents, land transport vehicle accidents, suicide attempts, assaults, slipping, tripping, falls, and intentional self-harm. These numbers have raised concerns, prompting the question of what actions the higher-ranking officers and officials will take to address these issues.
Lt. Macie's efforts have brought these critical matters to the forefront, but there's still uncertainty about how the Pentagon and Congress will respond. Whether the data will prompt significant actions to ensure the safety and well-being of service members remains to be seen. Lt. Macie's determination to hold the government accountable for the well-being of those serving in the military is commendable, and it will be interesting to see how this situation unfolds.
