Replicating the findings of American scientists Kevin McKernan and Phillip Buckhaults, German biologist Jürgen O. Kirchner has uncovered massive levels of DNA contamination in vials of the BioNTech-Pfizer mRNA vaccine deployed in Germany.
BioNTech is the legal manufacturer of the vaccine, which is commonly referred to as the ‘Pfizer' vaccine outside of Germany.
Kirchner initially raised the alarm about the DNA contamination in the BioNTech vaccine in 2022 in his book Die mRNA-Maschine – ‘The mRNA Machine'. This book features a chapter on the risks associated with the DNA contamination in the vaccine.
Kirchner then submitted five unopened vials of the BioNTech vaccine for analysis to the lab of Professor Brigitte König of Leipzig University Hospital. The results of Prof. König's analyses revealed massive DNA contamination, up to 354 times higher than the 10 nanogram per dose limit recommended by the WHO and applicable in the EU. Additionally, full residual bacterial plasmids were found.
Kirchner also accused the Paul Ehrlich Institute of not performing adequate quality control of the vaccine before approving batches for release. This institute is responsible for batch release of the BioNTech-Pfizer vaccine for the entire EU.
Kirchner pointed out that while the PEI does not test the purity of the vaccine solution, it did require advanced testing for contaminants of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine.
Questions are now being asked about the relationship between the German regulator and BioNTech, as to how collaborative they are.
