Vivek Agnihotri Accuses Studios of Paying to Silence His Upcoming Film, “The Vaccine War”
Vivek Agnihotri’s upcoming film The Vaccine War is set to be released on September 28. Recently, the director claimed that an ’embargo’ had been imposed on the film from the industry, and that no one was discussing it intentionally.
He noted that when his earlier film Buddha in a Traffic Jam was released, it was reviewed by 50-100 people on YouTube. However, for The Vaccine War, he believes ‘money is being paid’ and thus no reviews have been made.
Agnihotri added that a number of production houses and stars had offered him sizeable amounts to create a sequel to The Kashmir Files, which he turned down.
He went on to explain that he is taking a risk with The Vaccine War, and if it does not succeed, he will be back to square one.
