A leading oncologist, Dr. Nicholas DeVito, is sounding the alarm about the significant increase in cancer cases among young people. According to Dr. DeVito, every new patient coming to his clinic is now under the age of 45.
This demographic shift is a cause for concern, but the U.S. government officials are allegedly refusing to acknowledge or address the surge in cancer cases.
Multiple studies and oncology experts have already warned about the rising number of cancer cases in younger people. The U.S. currently has the sixth-highest rate of early-onset cancers, with 87 cases per 100,000 people under 50 years old. The projected diagnoses of early-onset cancers are expected to rise by 31% and deaths by 21% by 2030.
The cancers increasing the fastest include throat and prostate cancers, while breast, tracheal, lung, stomach, and colon cancers have the highest mortality rates.
Dr. DeVito hopes to witness a future where the U.S. has successfully combated early-onset gastrointestinal cancers.
Additionally, some doctors are attributing the recent surge in aggressive cancers to the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, dubbing the phenomenon “turbo cancer.” These cancers spread rapidly and don't respond to conventional treatments.
A study published in The Lancet Public Health revealed that the incidence rates for 17 of 34 cancer types were increasing among progressively younger people in the U.S.
Furthermore, recent data from the American Cancer Society shows that cancer rates and related mortality continue to rise, with a significant spike in cases occurring in 2021 shortly after the release of the COVID-19 vaccines.
