In a recent interview with Dr Philip McMillan, Sam Brokken, a former Senior Lecturer and Head of Research in Health Sciences at two Belgian applied science universities, opened up about the challenges he faced for questioning the Covid narrative. Brokken, who founded the Humani-Well platform, has been critical of the dogmatic approach taken during the pandemic.
One of Brokken's significant contributions was an open letter to the Belgian government advocating for a “Focused Protection” strategy. This proposal received support from 1500 academics and health experts in Belgium and the Netherlands. The concept of “Focused Protection” aligns with the ideas presented in the Great Barrington Declaration, which gained attention a few months later.
Brokken's views were put to the test when he was invited to a National TV debate. During the debate, he presented three points: first, vaccines would not prevent transmission; second, corona passports/QR codes would enhance transmission; and third, there was no benefit or ethical justification for vaccinating healthy children and adolescents. These arguments were backed by current research and findings at the time.
However, Brokken's time to speak was abruptly cut short, and the debate was halted. In the following weeks, he faced cancellation, ridicule, and character assassination in the mainstream media. These attacks ultimately led to his dismissal from both of his University Colleges.
Sam Brokken is an experienced physiotherapist with postgraduate degrees in Sports Physiotherapy, Manipulative Therapies, and Manual Therapy. He has been featured in numerous podcasts and interviews worldwide and is well-known for his contributions to the Headwind documentaries, alongside other experts like Dr. Robert Malone and Prof. Mattias Desmet.
The interview also covered various timecodes that shed light on Brokken's perspective. He discussed the challenges of questioning Covid-19 experts and emphasized the responsibility to challenge science for its robustness. Brokken also highlighted the shift in government narratives regarding face masks and virus mortality rates in early 2020, which prompted him to question expert advice.
Furthermore, he advocated for a reversed lockdown strategy and questioned the effectiveness of Covid vaccines based on Israeli data. Brokken raised concerns about the lack of proof and the need to vaccinate the under-60 population without comorbidities.
Beyond the pandemic, Brokken expressed worries about global governance and digital currency control. He also shared insights into the impact of education on childhood genius potential and the challenges society faces in terms of intellectual capacity and critical thinking skills.
In healthcare, Brokken highlighted the lack of a holistic approach in education, neglect of social determinants of health, and the imbalance between curative and preventative medicine. He also discussed challenges related to medication prescriptions and genetic imprints revealed by the Covid pandemic.
Sam Brokken's interview provides a thought-provoking perspective on the Covid narrative and its implications. It raises important questions about the role of experts, government narratives, and the need for critical thinking in advancing science. As Brokken continues his commitment to scientific accuracy and a better world.
