In a recent article published on The National Pulse, Congressman Matt Gaetz highlights the concerning actions of the federal government during the COVID-19 pandemic. Gaetz accuses “rogue agencies” of colluding with private institutions to form an Orwellian Ministry of Truth, whose purpose is to control the narrative and dictate language to maintain power. He argues that this behavior erodes trust and confidence in the government.
Gaetz points to the initial response to the pandemic as evidence of this manipulation. He claims that unelected bureaucrats rushed to media outlets and big tech firms to steer the narrative, resulting in shifting stories about the origin, spread, and danger of COVID-19. The approved story initially was that the virus occurred naturally and was transmitted from a bat to a human in China's wet markets. However, Gaetz argues that none of the agencies involved inspected the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where the first reported case of SARS-CoV originated.
The congressman criticizes the coercive behaviors of the federal government and big tech firms, which he believes suppress speech and label legitimate studies as untrustworthy or untruthful if they lead to vaccine hesitancy. Gaetz claims that these actions go beyond reasonable investigative accuracy and cross a line by monitoring, labeling, and eliminating Americans' speech.
Gaetz also raises concerns about the Department of Defense's (DoD) manipulation of medical data in their Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) system. He questions whether the correction of previously “corrupted” data was prompted by service members' concerns about vaccine-related health issues. The corrected data shows alarming increases in medical injuries such as ovarian dysfunction, pulmonary embolism, and myocarditis.
The congressman argues that there has been no accountability for the period when the data was described as corrupted and inaccurate, leading to misguided or detrimental treatment plans for service members. He calls for accountability and oversight into these injuries, demanding that Congress explores authorizing a special exemption to the Feres Doctrine for COVID-19 vaccine injuries and repeals the Big Pharma liability protections in the CARES Act.
In conclusion, Gaetz emphasizes the need to protect service members from experimental vaccines, ensure their freedom of speech is not suppressed, and provide them with proper care and recognition for vaccine-related injuries. He calls on Congress to take proactive measures to address these concerns and prioritize the well-being of service members.
