In September 2019, an article titled “Government Concedes Vaccine-Autism Case in Federal Court – Now What?” was removed from HuffPost after being up for six years.
The article discussed a case in which the US government's Court of Federal Claims acknowledged that routine vaccination had aggravated a child's underlying condition and led to the development of autism spectrum disorder.
This removal was part of a larger effort to suppress information critical of the claim that vaccines are safe and effective. Platforms like Amazon, Facebook, Pinterest, GoFundMe, and others have also taken steps to remove or demote content deemed to contain “misinformation” about vaccines.
However, the notion that vaccines are completely safe and do not cause autism has not been established. Studies claiming to refute an association between vaccines and autism often have limitations and fail to address the question adequately.
The suppression of information and the refusal to engage in open conversation about vaccine safety raises questions about what those in the industry and media are afraid we might uncover.
